FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. The Atlanta Falcons designated safety Jordan Fuller to return to practice. He was a full participant Thursday.
Fuller was placed on injured reserveback on Sept. 13during Week 2 due to a knee injury. He played just one defensive and 16 special teams snaps in the Falcons'Week 1 lossto the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then, he did not participate in practice afterward.
Fuller wasan offseason signingwith five years of experience on his resume. He started 55 of his 57 career appearances primarily with the Los Angeles Rams (2020-23), but also with the Carolina Panthers (2024) before joining the Falcons. His highlights include seven interceptions, with three apiece in 2020 and 2023.
Fuller initially didn't make the Falcons'53-man rosterbut wassigned to ittwo days later.
The Falcons' starting safeties are veteran Jessie Bates III and rookie Xavier Watts, who was named theNFL Rookie of the Monthin September. DeMarcco Hellams and Dee Alford were listed as backups onthe latest depth chart.
