Fantasy Football: Who to start in your Week 7 lineup

Fantasy Football: Who to start in your Week 7 lineup

The start 'em, sit 'em recommendations you need to build the perfect fantasy lineup.

Will McFadden

Throughout the season, I'll help you build the perfect lineup and become a league legend. Each week, I will recommend three starters at each position as well as two sleepers in matchups I really like. I will also spotlight one Falcons player in each section.

It's not all too difficult to tell someone to start Bijan Robinson or Josh Allen on any given week, and I assume everyone reading this right now would already know to do so. Therefore, I'll try to focus these recommendations on players who might be on the starting or flex bubble.

Running backs to start in Week 7

Breece Hall vs. Carolina Panthers

Hall has only topped 100 scrimmage yards three times this season, and he hasn't scored a touchdown yet, but I think there's a good chance he does both in this one. Expect the Jets to try to keep this game close and out of Justin Fields' hands.

Cam Skattebo at Denver Broncos

After his breakout game against the Eagles, there probably aren't many people who don't already have Skattebo in their lineup. He's just too much fun to leave on your bench.

Rachaad White at Detroit Lions

There's a chance the Lions' offense limits White's opportunities as the game goes along, but he's been good since Bucky Irving's been absent. He's been a constant in my lineups, and he should be in yours, too.

Sleeper start Rhamondre Stevenson at Tennessee Titans

There's no doubt Stevenson has been disappointing to downright bad at times this season. He's still heavily involved, though, and Sunday is his maybe his last chance to turn things around.

Sleeper start Tyler Allgeier at San Francisco 49ers

Falcons offensive coordinator Zac Robinson noted Wednesday that the Falcons would "continue to monitor" Bijan Robinson's workload to keep him fresh throughout the season, and Tyler Allgeier continues to play a healthy role. He could again Sunday against a beatable run defense.

Falcons spotlight Bijan Robinson at San Francisco 49ers

Robinson is No. 3 in the fantasy running back rankings, andNo. 1 in your heart.

Wide receivers to start in Week 7

Nico Collins at Seattle Seahawks

Those who drafted Collins are undoubtedly disappointed with what he's done so far. This is the week that could start to change. Coming off the bye week, he's got a juicy matchup against Seattle.

Jaylen Waddle at Cleveland Browns

In the two games without Tyreek Hill, Waddle has finished as the WR5 and WR21. This is another matchup where he'll have some volatility but should reward fantasy players who start him.

Chris Olave at Chicago Bears

He was limited to start the week of practice, but his target share has been anything but limited so far in 2025. Olave is fourth in the NFL in percent of his team's target share, earning a look more than 32% of the time. Ride that in this one.

Sleeper start Matthew Golden at Arizona Cardinals

Golden's production has ticked upwards since Week 3, and he looks poised to have a better second five games than first five games. That begins Sunday against Arizona.

Sleeper start Wan'Dale Robinson at Denver Broncos

The Broncos are not an easy matchup, but Robinson should be involved a lot regardless of opponent. If you need to flex play with a solid floor, Robinson is your guy.

Falcons spotlight Drake London at San Francisco 49ers

London saw 16 targets on Monday night against the Bills and gained 158 yards with a score. He is a surefire No. 1 receiver in real life and in fantasy.

Tight ends to start in Week 7

Harold Fannin Jr. vs. Miami Dolphins

David Njoku missed Wednesday's practice and is considered day to day. Given that Fannin's role was already promising and likely growing, he's a great candidate to take advantage of this opportunity.

Travis Kelce vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Kelce is not close to the dominant fantasy player he once was, but in a diminished tight end landscape, he's still returning solid numbers.

Cade Otton at Detroit Lions

Without his top receivers, Baker Mayfield could look Otten's way early and often. His targets have grown in three straight weeks, and they could see a big uptick on Sunday in a game that could go airborne.

Sleeper start Mason Taylor vs. Carolina Panthers

I'd largely recommend staying away from the Jets' offense, but Taylor is someone who has some upside if you're in a pinch. He's going up against a Panthers defense allowing the second-most points to the position and saw 12 targets in Week 5.

Sleeper start Michael Mayer at Kansas City Chiefs

Mayer took advantage of Brock Bowers' injury status against Tennessee, catching five passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. With a bye in Week 8, this could be Mayer's last chance at big volume.

Falcons spotlight Kyle Pitts at San Francisco 49ers

The Bills are second behind only the Falcons against tight ends this season, so Pitts' low returns aren't a big surprise. He should have an easier go against the 49ers, especially with Fred Warner out.

Quarterbacks to start in Week 7

Justin Herbert vs. Indianapolis Colts

Herbert hasn't finished higher than QB12 after his QB5 performance in Week 1, but I'll call my shot here: He'll finish closer to QB5 than QB12 in this weekend's showdown with the Colts.

Jared Goff vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On paper this is an even matchup and could be a very competitive game. But I think the Lions have a bit more speed than Tampa Bay can handle, and Goff could get some easy, long touchdowns.

Trevor Lawrence vs. Los Angeles Rams

This is more of an upside play than full-throated recommendation, but Lawrence has a talented offense around him and the Rams are better against the run than the pass.

Sleeper start Bryce Young at New York Jets

The Jets don't have the same caliber of defense they've had the last few years, and the breakout of Rico Dowdle could give Young a bit more room to operate.

Sleeper start Spencer Rattler at Chicago Bears

Rattler has been efficient and not put the ball in harm's way as a starter both of which are more important in real life than fantasy. But he offers a safer floor on a week with top names on bye.

Falcons spotlight Michael Penix Jr. at San Francisco 49ers

Penix is another great play if you're looking for a spot starter. The 49ers have allowed a league-high 34% open target rate on passes of 15 or more air yards, per Next Gen Stats. Could this be the week Penix has success on the long ball?
