Key developments on the field and roster move analysis

The Pro Bowl voting officially kicked off on Thanksgiving Day, so this week, the Falcons editorial team broke down why certain players on this Falcons roster deserve your Pro Bowl vote.

Terrin Waack put a spotlight onBijan RobinsonandDrake London, two bright spots amid a gloomy Falcons' season.

Robinson leads the NFL with an average of 132.4 scrimmage yards per game. His 1,589 total yards from scrimmage rank second only to San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, who has played in one more game and is on a bye in Week 14. Robinson's 995 yards rushing rank fifth across the league, and his 594 yards receiving are second among his position group.

And even though he's been unavailable the last two weeks with a PCL sprain in his knee, London continues to lead the Falcons statistically.

Through nine games, London has recorded 60 receptions for 810 yards and six touchdowns. He's averaging 13.5 yards per catch and catching 64% of his targets.

London's 810 yards receiving not only lead the Falcons, but his total is more than all other Falcons wide receivers' totals combined (621).

You can find out London's game status in the injury report links below.

As for the defensive side of the ball, Will McFadden shined a light onA.J. Terrell.

Terrell has been targeted 35 times through Week 13, which is the fewest among NFC cornerbacks with at least 300 coverage snaps this season. He is also No. 1 in receptions allowed and yards allowed among that group with 20 and 200, respectively. Terrell has given up just 0.6 yards per snap in coverage through 13 weeks, tied for the fewest in the conference.

Speaking of Terrell, the news of the week involved the Atlanta cornerback being namedthe club winner for the 2025 Walter Payton Man of the Yearfor the Falcons.

"I put in so much work this offseason. I'm talking about stressed out in good ways," Terrell said. "But it paid off, and this is what it's all about right here."

As for injury updates, the Falcons had a few, and you can view Atlanta's reports from the week below and check out thefull reports from Atlanta and Seattle here.

How did the rest of the league fair in Week 13? Tori McElhaney breaks it down in herweekly power rankings, while Will McFadden highlighted theNFC South's performance.

Speaking of Will, he and Terrin spent some time crunching the numbers and pathways the Falcons could take using the New York Times Playoff Simulator. Yes, they found, the Falcons can still make the playoffs but its going to take quite the feat. Here's what has to happen.

Finally, this week'sNerdy Birds installment took a deep dive into the Falcons' red-zone turnaround, which is significant.

Since Week 9, however, the Falcons have flipped that script, posting a league-best 92.9% red-zone touchdown rate and a 100% red-zone scoring rate. Atlanta scored touchdowns on 13 of 14 red-zone drives over the last five games, including 10 straight between Weeks 9 and 12.

Behind-the-scenes stories, locker room insight into team culture

Jalon Walker and James Pearce Jr. lead all rookies in sacks with 5.0 a piece. For all intents and purposes, they've been a success story for the Falcons in 2025. So much so they are proving to be a dynamic duo in a very real way.

"They've developed a relationship, which is not always given," Falcons defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich said. "Especially guys that play the same position, both first-round picks, because sometimes there is a level of healthy and sometimes a level of unhealthy competition amongst guys like that. But I feel like they found that balance and they really complement each other in a lot of really cool ways."

As Terrin Waack reported this week, the twosome that found themselves on the same jet to Atlanta the morning after they were drafted in the first round hold a lot of mutual respect for one another.

"Ever since we loaded up the jet and landed in Atlanta," Pearce said, "that's been my guy."

Said Walker: "I feel like we're two compatible people. People might see us as polar opposites. But me and James really get along."
