FOXBOROUGH, Mass. The Atlanta Falcons lost to the New England Patriots, 24-23, last Sunday in their Week 9 game at Gillette Stadium in front of 64,628 ticketed fans.

-- Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught touchdowns passes from 1, 2 and 8 yards out. He is the first Falcons player ever to have multiple touchdown catches of 2 or fewer yards in a single game.
-- With a fumble and an interception, the Falcons have forced a turnover in six straight road games. It's their longest streak since they had 17 straight games of such between 2020-22.
-- The Falcons have made a sack in every game this season. The eight-game run is their longest to start a season since 2012, when they went 14 consecutive games with a sack.
-- Falcons safety Jessie Bates III grabbed his first interception in 2025, putting him at 25 picks in his career. He is one of only five active NFL players with at least 25 career interceptions. He has had at least one in each of his eight seasons of play.

-- The Falcons were successful on one of their 10 third-down conversions. In the Week 8 loss to the Miami Dolphins, they were successful on two of their 11 third-down conversions. And in the Week 7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, they were successful on five of their 11 third-down conversions. That puts the Falcons at 8-of-32or a 25% success rateon third down in their last three losses.
-- In the last 10 seasons, teams were 64-0 whenever they had at least two turnovers and at least five sacks. The Falcons made that 64-1 after two turnovers and six sacks in the loss to the Patriots.
-- The Falcons had only allowed 15 plays of 20-plus yards prior to the Patriots. That was the second fewest in the NFL entering Week 9. In the second quarter, Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas hauled in a 58-yard reception. It tied for the longest play the Falcons have let slide this season.
-- The last time the Falcons lost by exactly one point overall was in Week 1 of the 2022 season against the New Orleans Saints. The last time the Falcons lost by exactly one point on the road was Week 2 of the 2020 season against the Dallas Cowboys.

Then, our secondary support, our tacklers, our corners, our safeties and our nickel, who keep showing up in the run game, limiting some of these potentially big runs to 2-, 3- yard gains. That's really huge for us as a defense."

The Falcons (3-5) will play the Indianapolis Colts (7-2) for a Week 10 international showdown in Berlin, Germany, at Olympic Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET. NFL Network will carry live coverage.
