An earthquake has hit the southern part of Iran.

The official news agency of Iran has reported major injuries from the incident, with 100 people being hospitalised.

There were no reports of deaths in the quake, which hit 1,360km south of the capital.

The 4.9 magnitude quake hit the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, immediately cutting power to the area.

Residents left their homes to stream into the streets as the earthquake gained in intensity.

Iran, which is located on seismic fault lines, is prone to serious earthquakes.

Iran suffers quake damage in the south

And of course nothing on the HUGE protests of the thousands of pro & anti government groups where as the government crushed the anti gov group, killing & hospitalizing many. little ole' 4.0 earthquake, wow knocked over a few glasses of water.

Heart goes out to the People !

The citizens are suffering from this
eartquake. My concern for the common folks has nothing to do with the Govt.
I will keep you in my prayers and
hope for a speedy recovery.

If that scared the heck out of them the one that travels 1266 miles in a matter of minutes and sends 7,000 people in the midst of it like grapes being crushed will terrorize the heck out of the masses all through out the middle east when it does hit remember it is the punishment Of GOD!
