Susan Boyle dolls up for grabs online

London, May 18 : A Susan Boyle fan is selling miniature dolls resembling the Britain's Got Talent star on the Internet.
Debbie Ritter, from Fisher, Illinois, makes use of clothes pegs, wire and clay to create the four-inch structure of the amateur singer.
The 46-year-old has been selling the dolls with bushy eyebrows and bird's nest hair to collectors for 14 pounds.
Debbie said that she fell in love with the Scottish virgin who turned into an overnight celebrity amazing all, including US President Barack Obama, with her stunning performance of the song 'I Dreamed a Dream' on the talent show.
"It's a lot of work and each doll takes at least a couple of hours. It's more of a hobby than a job for me but I sell them to collectors too," the Telegraph quoted Debbie as saying.
"It's painstaking work and you need small fingers. When I first saw Susan on television I just fell in love with her and when I heard her voice I had stars in my eyes.
"I have watched her video on YouTube literally one thousand times. I love he fact she is so down to earth and there is nothing fake about her. She's a simple woman but I mean that in a very good way," she added.  Email this story to a friend
