Batmobile replica up for sale at auction
The London News.Net Saturday 10th January, 2009 (ANI)
London, Jan 10 : An imitation of Batmobile, which was used in the 1960s Batman TV series, is up for grabs at an auction.
The personal car of the caped crusader comes with a dashboard TV, rear parachute pod and Batphone.
It is mechanically sound, and also has a valid MoT certificate and registration document, making it legal to drive on the road.
The car developed by Mark Perkins, 46, of Ascot, Berkshire is up for sale at an auction of sports cars and collector's pieces at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
Perkins bought the 1973 Lincoln Continental in 1987 and spent a year modifying it.
"It's quite a nice drive, but you get some funny looks and it causes chaos whenever you park it," Times Online quoted him as saying.

Batmobile replica up for sale at auction
No picture of the 73 Lincoln made into a 66 Batmobile? Probably didn’t sell because it probably looked hideously retarded. The real Batmobile was based on the 1966 Lincoln Futura concept car.
I collect Batmobiles and diecast. You can get your own Batmobile for a alot cheaper here.
