When Charlotte Church mistook curry indigestation for labour pain
The London News.Net Sunday 23rd November, 2008 (ANI)
London, Nov 23 : Soon-to-be mum Charlotte Church thought she was had gone into labour when she experienced agonising contractions, but the tension melted when she found that it was just indigestion caused by a takeaway curry.
The 22-year-old Welsh songbird and Gavin Henson, 26, are expecting their second child this month, and even have a birthing pool on standby.
"Charlotte got really anxious because she thought her contractions had started and even told Gav to get everything ready," The Mirror quoted a pal as saying.
The friend added: "But it turned out to be just indigestion caused by a curry they'd had delivered.
"When the pain stopped and both of them realised, they were in stitches."
Church and Henson already have a 14-month-old daughter, Ruby, who was also delivered at their St Bride's Manor home in the vale of Glamorgan.
Meanwhile, Charlotte has told friends she badly wants to get out of the house to party with her pals after the birth.
The pal added: "She really misses having some fun with her girlie mates."
