Britney says her new life is worse than prison time
The London News.Net Tuesday 18th November, 2008 (ANI)
London, November 18 : Britney Spears, who has been trying to rebuild her life following a series of public meltdown, has confessed that the 'changing' process has made her new life worse than jail.
The 'Toxic' hit maker, who had shaved her head and lost custody of her two sons during her breakdown, said that her new controlled daily life choked her freedom, making every single day feel 'like Groundhog Day'.
"There's no excitement, there's no passion. I have really good days, and then I have bad days." the Sun quoted her as saying in a new documentary.
"Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you're gonna get out. But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like Groundhog Day every day," she added.
The troubled pop star confessed having 'learnt the lesson' adding that it came at the cost of losing her liberty.
She said: "I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I'm under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening.
"If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time. I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free."
