Schuster restarts Real Madrid-ManU war for Ronaldo
The London News.Net Monday 13th October, 2008 (ANI)
London, Oct.13 : Bernd Schuster has re-ignited Real Madrid's war with Manchester United by insisting Cristiano Ronaldo will go to the Bernabeu next summer.
According to The Sun, the Spanish giants are desperate to lure the Portuguese winger and coach Schuster claimed Ronaldo is still hell bent on a switch to Spain after a move fell through this year.
"He has to be my No 1 priority. I'll expect Real to do everything in its power to bring me Cristiano," said Schuster.
Madrid is now ready to pay 90 million euro for him.
Real had talks with Ronaldo in the summer and that only Alex Ferguson's meeting with the player prevented him from quitting United.
The claims are sure to enrage the Red Devils, who reported Real to FIFA in June for unsettling their superstar.
