Johny Depp to be paid 32m to play Jack Sparrow again!
The London News.Net Monday 6th October, 2008 (ANI)
London, October 6 : Actor Johnny Depp, best known for his famous portrayal of Jack Sparrow in the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' series, will be paid a staggering 32 million pounds to star in the series' fourth sequel.
Depp's record payout for the eccentric pirate captain would beat Tom Hanks' 29 million pound record for the 'Da Vinci' sequel, 'Angels and Demons'.
"It's a lot of swag but they just can't make another without Sparrow," the Sun quoted a source as saying.
Though Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley appeared in the 'Pirates' trilogy, which earned 1.52 billion pounds, they are unlikely to return for the fourth sequel.
Walt Disney Pictures is said to be planning to shoot the fourth film in 2009.
