8,200lb rubber band ball may create Guinness World Record
The London News.Net Sunday 17th August, 2008 (ANI)
London, Aug 17 : Joel Waul hopes he will enter the record books with his 8,200lb rubber band ball.
Waul, 27, had created the humongous ball in his driveway using 300,000 bands of different colours and sizes.
And he is still not satisfied with it, as the clothing store worker plans to add 2,000 more bands, and then call in Guinness World Records, in Lauderhill, Florida.
"I would like people to say I had the world's largest rubber band ball ever and that they probably couldn't break the record at all years from now after I'm gone," British tabloid The Sun quoted him as saying.
